Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern access to the informational pages of the Purevessa Riqora Tennis Club website. Please read them alongside the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. They describe use of the public website rather than a separate membership agreement, booking contract or payment process.

The club’s contact details and legal operator are set out below. If you later arrange coaching, membership, events or other services directly with the club, additional terms may be provided separately before an agreement is concluded.

1. Website owner and scope

These terms apply to the informational website published for the club. They do not themselves promise a particular lesson, facility reservation, admission, membership place, opening schedule or programme. The website does not provide online registration, checkout or payments.

2. Permitted use

You may view and use the public pages for personal and lawful informational purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, probe systems without authorisation, interfere with other visitors, submit malicious traffic or misrepresent that you represent the club.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the website is lawful in your location. No part of the website should be used to send unsolicited advertisements, misleading notices, or abusive communications.

3. Information about activities and facilities

Descriptions of tennis experiences, courts, facilities, etiquette and community activities reflect the intended nature of the club but are not a binding guarantee of individual access, schedules, prices, coaching availability or physical facilities on a particular date. Contact the club to confirm details before making travel or participation arrangements.

Images illustrate the site’s existing tennis-related content. A photograph should not be interpreted as a guaranteed representation of any specific court or amenity available at a particular time unless the club separately confirms it.

4. Enquiries and communications

Contact information is supplied to help visitors ask questions directly. The website displays phone numbers and email addresses as text. Sending a message from your own email or communicating directly does not automatically create a membership contract, coaching booking or obligation on either party.

Please provide accurate contact details when you communicate, avoid sensitive details that are not needed for your enquiry, and allow a reasonable response time. The club may require confirmation of participation conditions outside this public website.

5. Membership, courts and safety

If the club offers memberships, lessons or organised sessions, specific eligibility, fees, cancellation policies, safety guidance and supervision responsibilities should be explained separately. This informational site does not process payments or reserve court spaces.

Visitors and players are expected to respect applicable facility rules, the safety of others, sporting etiquette and any communicated supervision requirements. Parents or guardians should discuss junior participation arrangements directly with the club.

6. Intellectual property and permitted copying

The layout, club branding, original written material and other protected elements are subject to applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party tennis photography remains subject to its respective rights and licence terms. You may view and print modest portions for private reference, but commercial redistribution, impersonation or use suggesting club endorsement requires prior permission from the rightsholder.

Nothing in these terms restricts uses permitted by mandatory copyright exceptions or other applicable law.

7. Availability and technical changes

We aim to keep the site readable and accurate, but an informational website may occasionally be unavailable during maintenance, hosting issues or network outages. We may revise page content, navigation or descriptions to correct mistakes or reflect updated club arrangements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every device and browser.

8. No online purchases or accounts

The present website does not include a member login, direct booking engine, checkout, electronic payment acceptance, upload service or public user-content submission feature. No account is created merely by opening the site. Any later introduction of these functions should be accompanied by appropriate notices and terms before use.

9. Third-party services and external material

The included frontend resources are served locally with the website and are not dependent on hosted third-party JavaScript or images. A site visitor’s network provider, browser vendor and the operator’s hosting provider remain outside the content of these terms.

If the website later links to an independently operated service, those pages would have their own terms and privacy arrangements. A link would not automatically mean that the club approves every statement or policy of the linked service.

10. Privacy and cookies

The club’s Privacy Policy explains information collected when visitors communicate or when technical traffic data is processed by the site’s deployment environment. The Cookie Policy describes the current absence of advertising and analytics cookies in the frontend. These documents should be read together with the present terms.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Site information is presented in good faith for general guidance, not as professional medical, training, legal or safety advice. Exercise and sport carry inherent risks; anyone planning physical activity should consider their circumstances and follow appropriate professional or venue instructions.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the club is not responsible for losses arising solely from temporary unavailability, third-party connectivity, or reliance on outdated descriptive content that has not been independently confirmed. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence where the law prohibits exclusion, or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Fairness and enforceability

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent lawful. A delay in enforcing a right does not necessarily constitute a waiver. Statutory consumer protections and other mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

13. Governing law and disputes

Subject to any mandatory rights available to you, the laws of Nova Scotia and the applicable laws of Canada govern these website terms. Before beginning a formal dispute about a site issue, we invite you to contact the club with a description of the concern so it can be considered and, where possible, resolved informally.

14. Updates to these Terms

The club may amend these website terms to reflect corrections, new legal requirements or changes to the informational site. The revision date is shown above. Material changes affecting any new interactive service should be presented in an appropriate way before that service is used.
